General Purpose Thermocouples
 |
These thermocouples are intended for general purpose use up to a temperature of 400°C. The sheath material on these thermocouples is 316 stainless steel and with a grounded measuring junction they are ideal for applications where a fast response to temperature changes is required.
- Thermocouple types: K, T, J, N and E.
- Wide selection of terminations available e.g. connector, cable,
transmitter etc.
- Suitable for general purpose measurements of temperature.

Hand Held Thermocouples
 |
Our hand held thermocouples are available in a range of tip styles to suit many applications and temperature ranges. They have a nylon handle, a coiled extension lead and are usually fitted with a miniature plug for connection to instrumentation.
- Thermocouple types: K, T, J, N and E.
- Large selection of tips: chisel (shown), penetration (pointed),
perforated (for sensing air temperatures), spring loaded (for surface
temperature) etc.
- Choice of sheath diameters and lengths.
- Rigid or flexible (mineral insulated) sheaths.

Mineral Insulated Thermocouples
 |
These thermocouples are of a mineral insulated type of construction. They are very robust temperature sensors and are suitable for use in tough conditions over a wide temperature range: (-200°C to +1250°C). The sheaths can (generally) be bent, twisted and flattened to suit applications without impairing performance.
- Thermocouple types: K, T, J, N, E, R, S, B, C and D with sheaths from
0.25 to 12.7mm diameter.
- Wide selection of terminations available e.g. connector, cable,
transmitter etc.
- Large selection of sheath materials such as: stainless steel, Inconel,
Pyrosil etc as well as materials such as Hastelloy, Platinum and
Molybdenum.

Heavy Duty Thermocouples
 |
These thermocouples are for heavy duty use and are designed specifically sensing temperature in arduous industrial environments such as furnaces, kilns, ovens and galvanising baths. A robust construction ensures a prolonged life.
- Termocouple types: K, T, J, N, E, R, S, B, C and D.
- Thick wall sheaths in stainless steel, Inconel 600, Incoloy 800,
Chromium Iron or Nicrobell.
- For temperatures up to 1250°C.
- Suitable for use in neutral, reducing or oxidising atmospheres
(depending on sheath type selected) and also for applications with
high concentrations of sulphurous gases.
